Life update.

So it's been a while. I'm sorry!

I thought, what with just two weeks until I move out, that a short update on my life would be a fitting post for now.



What's new then? Well. I have glasses now. This has been a long time coming. And for the past year or so, I've sat back as my eyesight slowly deteriorated. Conveniently, I have been due an eye test. So I went. And it's been confirmed I'm short sighted. So attached below you'll find a horrendous picture of my in my glasses. Mock away.

To be quite honest. I've been wearing them that much now that I'm used to them and sometimes feel weird when I don't have them on.

I'm convinced I have a wonky face.


What else. Hmm.

Ooh! I finally got my bank account sorted. I'm now with Santander. Which is pretty cool. I get a free railcard too, which is great. Just waiting for that to arrive now.

I'm pretty much all packed and ready to move out now. WHICH IS IN TWO WEEKS BY THE WAY. I'm pretty flipping excited, I'll be honest. But at the same time, it's all new and scary and I don't know. I'm sure I'll adjust. It might take a while though. Just need to get all of my clothes packed up, and the last couple of bits from my room, like posters, computer, instruments, Very Hungry Caterpillar related things. You know how it is.

This isn't even all of it.


In six weeks time, I'll potentially be getting my braces off. Thank goodness for that. It seems only yesterday that I went for my first appointment. I'm glad I decided to get braces. The pain and daft looking teeth should all pay off soon, getting myself a nice straight smile!

My YouTube channel has started to develop a little following, which is brilliant. I'm still working on it. Trying to make it a lot less boring, and hopefully get lots of fun and entertaining videos on there for you all to watch. And that's about it really. I'm not entirely sure what else is going on. Strange considering it's my life. Oops.

Hello one and all! So if you don't know by now that I like vinyl records, then I probably haven't told you. Sorry about that. But yes, I do indeed appreciate a good vinyl. There's something about it that is just so different to any other form of physical audio, like a CD, or cassette, *chuckles*. I don't think I can quite put my finger on it, but the sound you get from that tiny stylus running itself through the grooves is actually quite magical, and to my ears there's nothing quite like it. I've been wanting a record player for some time now, and when I went out to search for one last week, I ended up buying a full Hi-Fi system. Vinyl, radio, cassette and CD all in one, wow! Of course the tape section will likely never be used, and the radio doesn't particularly interest me, since I can only find a couple of stations. The worst day of my life ever.

But not really I guess.  Today, rather last night my computer died. Now, if you don't know me, you probably won't know that just about my entire life revolves around my computer. I use it for all my work, gaming, YouTube, Twitter, etc, etc. So you can imagine my despair when I return to use it last night and it doesn't power on. Apologies now to those of you who won't have any idea what I'm on about. And apologies if the format and such of this post goes haywire, I don't think I've ever blogged from my phone! I'm pretty good with technology, I usually know what I'm doing. But this one honestly stumped me. So I turned to the trusty Overclockers UK forums for help and, after some very useful information from some people who're much more in the know than me, I had a list of solutions.  Tested my power supply, and it's fine. Today is the day.

Hello everyone! It's likely that by the time most of you read this, I'll either be on the way to my new home, or will have moved in already. And that, above everything is pretty exciting. With terrifying and nerve racking coming in a close second and third. I have lived in the same home for my entire life, much like most, if not all of my friends, I honestly don't know. It's not exactly a hot topic when engaging in conversation. However, today is the day that all of that changes. Me, and about 900 other people are leaving our current homes, to go live all on the same street. Which is kind of weird if you think about it, but at the same time, it's really cool. No doubt by the time this post is published I'll have cried at least once and my mum several times, I can guarantee you that much. It's strange.
