Something rather serious. But not really.

There has been a hoax. A hoax which has been floating around the Internet for over a year now and quite frankly, I've had enough.

Check me, getting all serious and stuff.

For anybody who knows me, I'm quite the fan of the Back to the Future trilogy. And it really does annoy me when I browse Facebook, or any other social networking sites to see people sharing the following image. Or some variant of.

No. Wrong.

I'm sure we've all seen this. People going "OMG. Today is actually the day Marty and Doc travelled forward in time". Just trying to look cool as if they're some huge fan of the films. Pfft.

The actual date, in case you're wondering is the 21st of October, 2015. As demonstrated by this lovely image I found on Google earlier.

Yes. Correct.

It genuinely astounds me that people assume it's the correct date. And it's crazy how many people actually do. So, I think we should all work together to make it very clear what the actual date is, and shush these fools who should know better.

Rant over.

Hello one and all! So if you don't know by now that I like vinyl records, then I probably haven't told you. Sorry about that. But yes, I do indeed appreciate a good vinyl. There's something about it that is just so different to any other form of physical audio, like a CD, or cassette, *chuckles*. I don't think I can quite put my finger on it, but the sound you get from that tiny stylus running itself through the grooves is actually quite magical, and to my ears there's nothing quite like it. I've been wanting a record player for some time now, and when I went out to search for one last week, I ended up buying a full Hi-Fi system. Vinyl, radio, cassette and CD all in one, wow! The worst day of my life ever.

But not really I guess.  Today, rather last night my computer died. Now, if you don't know me, you probably won't know that just about my entire life revolves around my computer. I use it for all my work, gaming, YouTube, Twitter, etc, etc. So you can imagine my despair when I return to use it last night and it doesn't power on. Apologies now to those of you who won't have any idea what I'm on about. And apologies if the format and such of this post goes haywire, I don't think I've ever blogged from my phone! I'm pretty good with technology, I usually know what I'm doing. But this one honestly stumped me. Hello, 2016.

'Ello. Well, what can I say. It's been ten months since I last wrote on here, my-my, how time flies. I'm not going to apologise, I always seem to start posts with an apology for my absence. I've been really flipping busy. And when I wasn't, I had nothing to write about, so I kinda just left this website alone to gather virtual dust. It's 2016 now, and even though we're not even two months in, it's been a pretty rough one so far. It certainly hasn't all been bad, though. No doubt it won't be all that easy of a year, and at one point a couple of weeks back, I was really close to calling this one a write-off.
